First Announcement!

Hello everyone!

Learn RPG Maker MV is a project that born spontaneously from an interaction with an old friend of mine. He had purchased RPG Maker MV and asked me some questions about it's basic usage. Then, I created a small demo to teach him about the engine.

This project does the same and go even further. After finishing it, the user who have followed all the tutorials and examples in-game will be able to create his own games with all the tools available within the RPG Maker MV engine.

This is a work in-progress, which means that this project is far from being complete, but it already presents some nice examples to help those newcomers striving to learn the engine. Of course, your feedback is much appreciated, it's your feedback that will help shape the future lessons. I may also review the content of already published lessons.

I decided to publish this project before finishing it because everyone who adventured themselves in game development knows how time consuming developing a game can be. I'm also doing the teacher's work of planning lessons and I'm also working completely alone on this project, which makes things even worse for my side. So, I needed to resort to some sort of funding while I'm on this.

The Itch.io's store page will work as a mix of Crowdfunding with Early Access, where you are invited to support the game both financially and with worthy feedback.

Check below the progress of the project with the initial lessons plans. Some of the contents may change with time. Every progress will be posted as an announcement together with the new downloadable source files.
